Now imagine the contrast by looking at pictures from prisons in Norway and Switzerland. This difference is not just striking – it screams injustice and the need for change.
If we, as a society, do not help those who are in trouble, who are we after that? Many of these people are deprived of their freedom, but that should not mean depriving them of their human conditions and hope for the future. It is our common duty to lend a helping hand.

Our foundation was established with the deep conviction that every person, regardless of his or her mistakes, deserves human treatment and the opportunity for correction. We seek not only to alleviate suffering, but also to create conditions for the reintegration of former prisoners into society, while maintaining their most precious ties – their families.
Improving Conditions of Detention: From Inhumane to Dignified
We are actively working to ensure that conditions in places of detention meet international standards of humanity. This includes ensuring adequate nutrition, access to medical care, basic sanitation and personal hygiene. Our goal is to ensure that every prisoner, regardless of guilt, is held in conditions that do not compromise his or her human dignity. We strive to ensure that prisons provide an environment conducive not only to the serving of sentences, but also to spiritual and psychological recovery.
Supporting Families: Saving Connections, Giving Hope
When one family member is imprisoned, it is often a huge ordeal for everyone else. Families face financial hardship, social isolation and emotional pressure. We provide comprehensive support, from legal advice and psychological counseling to financial support in critical situations. Preserving family ties plays a key role in the successful re-socialization of prisoners after release, preventing recidivism and helping them to return to normal life.
Child Protection: A Bright Future, No matter What
Children of prisoners are the most innocent victims of their circumstances. They often face bullying, discrimination, poverty and lack of parental attention. Our program for children aims to provide them with education, psychological support and a safe and supportive environment. We help pay school fees, provide school supplies, organize developmental activities and summer camps. Every child deserves a happy childhood and a chance for a successful future, regardless of their parents’ mistakes.
