1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
This website is operated by the gulagunet.com non-commercial project team. By making a donation on the platform, the Donor accepts these Terms and Conditions, which are based on the principles of transparency and data protection legislation in force.
Use of the website implies acceptance of the proposed Terms and Conditions. The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, and the User is encouraged to periodically monitor changes.
2. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
By using the website https://gulagunet.com, you automatically consent to the collection and processing of personal data, which is necessary for the processing of donations and for communication related to the work of the project.
Personal data is only processed for legitimate purposes, such as processing your donation, transparent reporting (in an anonymized form), information about campaigns, newsletters and for analyzing the functioning of the website (Google Analytics, cookies).
All information containing personal data is stored and used only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data.
We use standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and to ensure the correct use of the information on the website. Data transmission over the internet or wireless networks cannot be fully protected. Therefore, like other organizations, we не can guarantee the absolute security of the information you provide, so you do so at your own risk.
3. PROCESSING DONATIONS
Donations can be made by payment card. Online payment is made in maximum security by using a valid card that allows online transactions. Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
The payment processor uses a secure system, based on the latest version of the 3D-Secure security standard, which means a new global approach to donor authentication in secure online transactions. This security measure involves redirecting the user when making a payment to a secure maib page, where authentication of each cardholder is done by assigning a unique one-time code for each online transaction.
Reimbursement of a donation is possible in exceptional cases, such as a technical error or a duplicate payment, and is made on request, exclusively to the payment card that was used for the original transaction.
To make a donation, you will need to enter your bank card details. The transfer of this information is done in accordance with all necessary security measures. The information is transmitted in encrypted form and is stored only on a specialized payment system server. The gulagunet.com platform does not collect and store information related to bank transactions (card number, expiration date, etc.).
The following data will be required for payment:
Card number (16 digits)
Expiry date (month and year)
CVC or CVV code (3 digits)
Name and surname on payment card
If the card’s currency differs from the transaction currency (MDL), the conditions of your card-issuing bank will apply when converting the amount.
4. PRIVACY POLICY
The platform collects and processes only the personal data voluntarily provided by donors when making the transaction: name, surname and e-mail address. This data is used solely for the purposes of administering the platform, processing the donation and contacting the donor if necessary.
The gulagunet.com platform will not disclose to any third party any of the data held, without the consent of the data subjects, and will not commercialize, exchange or disclose this data with other persons, except as provided for by the legislation in force (at the justified request of public state institutions or law enforcement bodies).
Personal data may be used, in aggregated and anonymized form, for statistical purposes.
